Here is a really quick way to make your own probiotic yogurt at home. It is much healthier and will be cheaper as well.
1.Pour ½ -1 gallon of milk into a pan and heat it on the stove until just before boiling.
2.Cool the milk to around 110F
3.Place 1 small container of store bought plain yogurt that contains “live” cultures into the pan and stir.
4.Pour into clean sterilized containers.
5.Add these containers into a cooler with a lid. Also place a pitcher full of warm water into the cooler which acts as the heat source. Close the lid and let sit (ferment) for 4-8 hours.
6.The yogurt is done when it has firmed up.
7.Store the yogurt in the refrigerator. This recipe can be scaled up or down for making your own probiotic yogurt at home.
